Sutherland House is an office-to-residential conversion of 128 residential (PRS) units in central Sutton. The project demanded a careful balancing of Local Authority planning aspirations for local enhancement, with an extremely tight budget and a short programme.
The scheme was designed using the 'Miflat' brand identity which was developed for Criterion Capital and is currently being applied to 3,000 residential units in and around London.
The apartments are classical and contemporary open plan units where the loss of floor area to circulation is minimised in favour of maximised usable floor. Individual flats are organised into zones based on levels of privacy and services
Client: Criterion Capital
Project: Sutherland House
